Pate The Great's Papa

Gillian Nora Bella was born at 12:11pm on Sunday, November 19, 2006! She weighed 8 lbs. 13 oz. and measured 20 inches long :) Patriot and the family are very excited to have her with us now!

Thank you all for your prayers during this pregnancy. God is good!

Lindsey and I decided on Nora Bella because it means beautiful light. Our prayer for this sweet child is that she will be a glorious reflection of our radiant and beautiful God... We know that the Creator has wonderful things in store for this precious life!



And if you were wondering I picked Gillian (with a "j" sound) cause I like it and I can call her "Gilly-bean" :)

Little man has had a cold for the last few days... It's been a real struggle to take care of him, especially since I've been sick too... no one really enjoys having things stuck up their nose, even if it is supposed to relieve the congestion in the end... So imagine my suprise when I caught our monkey willingly addressing the problem head-on :)

Patriot was a cowboy for Halloween... He really loves wearing his hat, though he never seems to have it on the right way. In both of these shots he's got it on backwards :)

Pate had a great time helping Uncle Jensen and Aunt Beth pass out candy! And of course he enjoyed a few treats himself... He was especially fond of a pretty little Minnie-Mouse that stopped by. And so it begins...
